The YAPs require trainers to be 8 years old. Yoga Alliance is a commercial entity independent of these organizations, and the membership of these organizations is not transferable to Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance is a non-profit membership organization that supports a global community of more than 100,000 yoga teachers and schools. The Yoga Alliance credential is recognized around the world.
